Terms of Use

Last updated: July 21, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of Wickline, the AI charting terminal available at wickline.ai (the “Service”), operated by Wickline (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Wickline provides informational market analysis, not financial advice. Trading involves substantial risk of loss. Wickline never executes trades and never holds customer funds.

1. What Wickline is — and is not

Wickline is an AI-assisted market analysis tool. It reads chart data, draws levels, discusses market structure, and keeps a trading journal. It is an informational tool only.

Wickline is not:

  • Financial advice. Nothing the Service produces — analysis, levels, scenarios, commentary, or anything else — is investment advice, a recommendation, or a solicitation to buy or sell any asset. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, or financial planner in any jurisdiction.
  • A trading venue. The Service never executes trades, never connects to your exchange or broker account, never asks for exchange API keys, and never holds, transmits, or has access to your funds. All trading decisions and all trades are yours, made and executed entirely outside the Service.

Every trading decision you make is your own, at your own risk. Trading involves substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone. Past performance — including anything shown in your journal — does not guarantee future results.

2. AI-generated content

The Service's analysis is generated by artificial intelligence models. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or confidently mistaken. It may misread a chart, mislabel a level, or describe market conditions that do not exist. Do not rely on the Service's output as your sole basis for any decision. Verify anything that matters before acting on it.

3. Market data

Charts and prices in the Service are built from third-party market data (for example, public exchange data). This data is provided “as is”: it may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and it may differ from prices at your own broker or exchange. Market data is provided for your personal use within the Service and may not be redistributed.

4. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your credentials secure, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. One account per person; accounts are not transferable.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

The Service offers a free tier and two paid plans, Plus and Pro. Both can be bought for 1, 3, or 12 months, and how you pay decides how the plan behaves:

  • Prepaid pass (cryptocurrency). You pay once for a fixed term. Nothing renews and nothing is ever charged again — access ends when the term does, and we email you before it runs out. To continue, you buy another term.
  • Subscription (card). You are charged at the start of each billing period and the plan renews automatically at the same price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges and takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep full access until then.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle handles payment, invoicing, applicable sales tax or VAT, and billing support. Card details are entered on Paddle's checkout and never reach our servers. Prices are shown inclusive of any tax that applies, so the price you see is the amount you pay.

You can move between Plus and Pro at any time. On a subscription, an upgrade charges the prorated difference and applies immediately; downgrades and changes of billing period take effect at your next renewal. On a prepaid pass, unused time on your current plan is carried across to the new one at its cash value rather than discarded.

Each plan includes a usage allowance. Allowances are designed to comfortably cover the plan's intended use (“a few sessions a week” for Plus, “daily use” for Pro); we may apply fair-use limits to prevent abuse. We may change plan prices or allowances with reasonable advance notice. For subscriptions, changes take effect at your next renewal; a prepaid term you have already bought is not affected.

6. Refunds

Because Paddle.com is the merchant of record, refunds are issued by Paddle. Email support@wickline.ai from your account address, or contact Paddle buyer support directly. We answer refund requests as quickly as we can. Approved refunds are returned by Paddle to the original payment method and usually take a few business days to appear, depending on your bank.

Your first payment. If a card subscription is not what you expected, tell us within 7 days of your first payment on it and we will refund that payment in full. We may decline where usage goes well beyond trying the Service out.

Renewals. Renewals are not refunded. Paddle emails you before every renewal, you can cancel at any time from your account settings or from the link in any Paddle receipt, and cancelling keeps your access to the end of the period you have already paid for. There is also a free tier, so the Service can be used before you pay for it at all.

Cryptocurrency payments. A prepaid pass bought with cryptocurrency is non-refundable once the term has begun: the payment is irreversible on-chain and its value in your local currency moves after it settles. Where we do agree to a refund, it is returned in the same asset at the rate on the day it is approved, less network fees.

Always refunded. Duplicate charges, charges taken after a cancellation we confirmed, and charges you did not authorize. Tell us and we will put it right.

Not refunded. Unused time on a longer term you chose to buy up front, and dissatisfaction with the accuracy or usefulness of AI output (the Service is informational and its output is not warranted — see sections 2 and 12).

Anything outside the cases above is at our discretion. Paddle may also issue a refund under its own policy as merchant of record.

Nothing in this section limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, including any statutory right of withdrawal that applies to you.

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer before contacting us, we may suspend your account until the dispute is resolved.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to generate content that violates the usage policies of the underlying AI model providers;
  • attempt to bypass usage limits, moderation, or safety systems, or probe, scan, or disrupt the Service's infrastructure;
  • access the Service through automated means (bots, scrapers, scripts) except through interfaces we provide;
  • resell, redistribute, or provide third parties systematic access to the Service or its output, or use the Service to build a competing product;
  • attempt to extract the Service's underlying prompts, configurations, or model arrangements.

The Service uses automated moderation. Content that triggers moderation or safety systems is recorded as a strike; repeated strikes result in automatic suspension of your account. We may also suspend or terminate accounts for any material breach of these Terms.

8. Your content

You retain ownership of the content you create in the Service — your messages, journal entries, drawings, and settings. You grant us the limited license needed to store and process that content in order to operate the Service (including sending relevant content to AI model providers to generate responses, as described in the Privacy Policy). We claim no ownership over your trading ideas.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not submit content you have no right to share.

9. Our intellectual property

The Service — its software, design, branding, and everything in it other than your content and third-party market data — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual-property laws. These Terms grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service; they transfer no ownership.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties: AI model providers (routed via OpenRouter), market data sources, payment processing and merchant of record (Paddle.com), cryptocurrency payment processing (NOWPayments), and anti-bot protection (Cloudflare Turnstile). Wickline provides the agent framework — the chart context, tools, and memory; the AI models that drive it are supplied by independent third parties, and which models handle your request depends on your selection. We do not control the behavior or output of those models. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them through the Service may be subject to their own terms.

11. Availability and warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that its output will be accurate. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for any trading or investment losses, loss of profits, loss of data, or any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim (or $50 if you have paid nothing). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, with notice where practicable. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 1, 2, 9, 12, and 13) survive.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes we will give notice (for example, by email or an in-app notice) before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the country in which the operator is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you under the law of your country of residence, including any right to bring proceedings before your local courts where that law so provides.
